Shreya Ghoshal records a peppy song for King of Kotha

Dulquer Salmaan's King of Kotha is eyeing Onam release in August, and the makers are currently busy with its post-production. On Friday, composer Jakes Bejoy took to social media to share that Shreya Ghoshal has recorded a peppy song for the film. Joe Paul has penned the lyrics. It is the second time Jakes is composing for a Dulquer-starrer after Salute. While Jakes alone is handling the background score in King of Kotha, film has a couple of songs composed by Shaan Rahman as well.

King of Kotha is directed by debutant Abhilash Joshiy, son of veteran filmmaker Joshiy. Scripted by Porinju Mariam Jose-fame Abhilash N Chandran, it is a gangster drama spanning different timelines. Aishwarya Lekshmi is paired with Dulquer in the film. The cast also includes Sarpatta Parambarai-fame Shabeer Kallarakkal, Chemban Vinod Jose, Nyla Usha, Shanthi Krishna, Prasanna, Gokul Suresh and Sudhi Koppa. Ritika Singh, noted for her roles in Irudhi Suttru and Oh My Kadavule, will also be seen in a special dance number of Kotha is produced by Wayfarer Films and Zee Studios.
