Saiju Kurup's Sony LIV series Jai Mahendran wrapped up

As reported earlier, Saiju Kurup is playing lead in Sony LIV's maiden Malayalam web series Jai Mahendran. The makers wrapped up its shoot on Friday after two months of filming. The show is billed as a political drama with a light-hearted tone. It has Rahul Riji Nair attached to it as the writer, producer, and showrunner. His former assistant Srikanth Mohan is directing the series.

Jai Mahendran has Saiju Kurup as a corrupt deputy Tehsildar corrupt officer who believes in getting things done through powerplay and using his influence within the system. The cast also includes Suhasini Mani Ratnam, Miya George, Suresh Krishna, Johny Antony, Maniyanpilla Raju, Balachandran Chullikad, Rahul Riji Nair, Vishnu Govindan, and Sidhartha Siva.

Saiju Kurup's upcoming slate includes Pappachan Olivilanu, Porattu Nadakam, and Written and Directed By God.
