Fahadh Faasil's Dhoomam trailer promises edge-of-the-seat thriller; Release date out

The makers of Dhoomam released the trailer on Thursday. Directed by Kannada filmmaker Pawan Kumar, the film stars Fahadh Faasil in the lead role. The film is said to hit the theatres on June 23. 

The trailer opens with Fahadh Faasil's character saying how they could create an anti-smoking public service advertisement in a way that people will actually watch it. The rest of the trailer shows intercuts of many intriguing and thrilling moments also featuring Vineeth, Roshan Mathew, and Aparna Balamurali. Towards the end, Fahadh also says that the answer to having a brand new phone, brand new car, a huge house, and foreign holidays is to become very very rich. 

Dhoomam is backed by Hombale Films, the production house that bankrolled the KGF films and Kantara. The film is said to release in Kannada, Tamil, Malayalam, and Telugu. Dhoomam also stars Roshan Mathew Aparna Balamurali, and Vineeth in pivotal roles. Pawan Kumar's regular collaborator Poornachandra Tejaswi is composing the music while Preetha Jayaraman handles the cinematography.
