If reports are to be believed, Fahadh Faasil will play the lead in director Jithu Madhavan's next. Anwar Rasheed will reportedly be backing the project. Though Jithu's debut film Romancham is yet to hit the screens, it already has a highly positive buzz within the industry circles.
Jithu started off his career as an assistant to director John Paul George in Guppy and later in Ambili. John is also one of the producers of Romancham, a horror-comedy based on real incidents. The film starring Soubin as the lead is releasing this Friday.
Fahadh Faasil, meanwhile, has projects lined up in various languages. He recently wrapped up the shoot of Dhoomam, a multilingual film directed by Kannada director Pawan Kumar. In Tamil, he is part of the Mari Selvaraj directorial Maamannan, while in Telugu, he has Pushpa: The Rule coming up. The Joji actor will be reprising the role of Bhanwar Singh Shekhawat in it. Akhil Sathyan's Paachuvum Albhuthavilakkum and Sudheesh Sankar's Hanuman Gear are Fahadh's upcoming Malayalam films
