Director Shanavas K Bavakutty's new film will be launched on the auspicious occasion of Chingam 1 (August 17) with a customary pooja ceremony. The director, who earlier made Kismat and Thottappan, has got Hakkim Shah and Priyamvada Krishnan to play the leads in his new film.
Raghunath Paleri is returning to scripting with this film, which, as per the makers, is an urban rom-com with some thrill elements. The veteran's writing credits include popular films like My Dear Kuttichathan, Ponmuttayidunna Tharavu, Piravi, Meleparambil Aanveedu, Pingami and Vanaprastham. The upcoming film also stars Shruti Ramachandran, Vijayaraghavan, Shammy Thilakan, Janardhanan, Ganapathi, Jaffer Idukki, Azeez Nedumangad, Manohari Joy and Unniraj. It will have music by Hesham Abdul Wahab, edits by Manoj and cinematography by Eldhose Nirappel.
The film is backed by Saptha Tharang Creations Pvt Ltd and Vikramadithyan Cinema Company.
