Vinay Rai cast in Tovino's Identity 

Actor Vinay Rai has joined the cast of the upcoming Malayalam film Identity. The film stars actors Tovino Thomas and Trisha in the lead roles.

The film is directed by Akhil Paul and Anas Khan. Identity, billed as an action thriller, marks Tovino's second collaboration with directors Akhil and Anas Khan after the 2020-released Forensic. Ragam Movies and Raju Malliath are producing the upcoming film in association with Century Kochumon.

In a post on Instagram, Akhil wrote on casting Vinay, “When considering a character that has equal standing to Tovino Thomas in this movie, we needed someone with an extraordinary vibe and swag. That's why the name VINAY RAI was not a choice, but an automatic fit. We are absolutely thrilled to finally have you on board to portray this vision!”

Meanwhile, Vinay was last seen in Malayalam in Christopher opposite Mammootty.
