We had earlier reported that Alphonse Puthren will be helming a Tamil romantic film for Romeo Pictures. While the director is currently working on it, the director took to social media to share his latest meeting with music veteran Ilaiyaraaja and the possibility of collaborating with him.
Taking to Twitter, he shared a photo of himself along with the composer and wrote, “While Met the “Raaja of Tamil Music” Maestro Ilaiyaraja sir the third time, a few days back. This time I dint forget to take the photo. I don’t need to explain about him. Will be collaborating with Maestro Ilaiyaraja sir for a film, after my upcoming film with Romeo Pictures.”
The details of the upcoming project with Ilaiyaraaja is yet to be revealed. However, it will mark his first collaboration with Ilaiyaraaja.
Meanwhile, Alphonse last helmed Prithviraj-starrer Gold. The film opened to negative reviews.
