Actor Yogi Babu joins the cast of Guruvayoor Ambalanadayil

Actor Yogi Babu, who is best known for his comedic/ character roles, predominantly in Tamil films, joins the cast of the upcoming Malayalam film Guruvayoor Ambalanadayil. Directed by Vipin Das, who recently delivered the hit Jaya Jaya Jaya Jaya Hey, Guruvayoor Ambalanadayil stars Prithviraj Sukumaran and Basil Joseph in the lead roles. 

Guruvayoor Ambalanadayil marks Yogi Babu's debut in Malayalam. Sunday, on the occasion of Easter, Vipin Das shared a photo with Yogi Babu on his Facebook handle. He wrote a note to officially welcome the actor into the film's cast," Welcome to Malayalam Cinema. Extremely happy to share my Easter Egg to all. None other than Yogi Babu on board in Guruvayoorambalanadayil (sic)

Kunjiramayanam-fame Deepu Pradeep has penned the script of Guruvayoor Ambalanadayil, which is backed jointly by Prithviraj Productions and E4 Entertainment.

Meanwhile, Yogi Babu was last seen in Kajal Aggarwal starrer Ghostly, and the actor's upcoming outing will be Yaanai Mugathaan. He also has various films in different stages of production, including Sathuranga Vettai 2, Andhagan, and Jawan, among others.
