Actor Mammootty has completed filming his portions for his upcoming film Christopher. Posting the update on his Facebook page, Mammootty wrote, "It was great filming with Unnikrishnan B and team."
Directed by B Unnikrishnan, Christopher is penned by Udayakrishna (Pulimurugan). The film has Mammootty enacting a vigilante police officer. The film also stars actors Sneha, Amala Paul and Aishwarya Lekshmi as the female leads. The film also stars Shine Tom Chacko, Dileesh Pothan, and Siddique, among others.
Vinay Rai (Doctor, Thupparivalan) has been cast as the principal antagonist in the film, which marks the actor's maiden Malayalam project. Operation Java-fame Faiz Siddik is the director of photography, with Justin Varghese working on the music. B Unnikrishnan's frequent collaborator Manoj is the editor. Aroma Mohan and RD Illuminations are jointly producing the film.
