As reported earlier, Prithviraj Sukumaran is playing a major role in Salaar. Directed by Prashanth Neel, the film has Prabhas in the lead. Prithviraj plays a character named Vardharaja Mannaar in it.
Recently, during the press meet of his upcoming release Kaapa, Prithviraj revealed that he will be joining the next schedule of Salaar in January. After that, he along with Prabhas will be flying to Italy for a brief leg of shoot.
Salaar also stars Shruti Haasan, Jagapathi Babu, Easwari Rao, and Madhu Guruswamy in prominent roles. The film is backed by Hombale Films, the production house behind the KGF films and the recently released Kantara. It has cinematography by Bhuvan Gowda, editing by Ujwal Kulkarni, and music composed by Ravi Basrur.
Salaar is set to release in theatres on September 28, 2023.
