Director Tharun Moorthy's Saudi Vellakka is getting appreciation from all corners. Recently, the makers arranged a special screening of the film for Tamil filmmaker AR Murugadoss. Producer Sandip Senan, a big fan of the director, took to social media to share photos from the screening. He also wrote about how Murugadoss broke into applause at the end of the show. Interestingly, Murugadoss' assistant Sudhas is next directing a film under Sandip Senan's production.
Meanwhile, Saudi Vellakka is continuing its good run in theatres courtesy the highly positive word of mouth. Tharun Moorthy has also scripted the film, which explores the lives of different characters living in entirely different social backgrounds in their perspectives. Before its theatrical release, it was screened at the Indian Panorama of the recently concluded 53rd International Film Festival of India (IFFI).
Saudi Vellakka stars Lukman, Binu Pappu, Devi Varma, Sujith Sankar, Gokulan, Dhanya Ananya, Nilja K Baby, Vincy Aloshious, Remya Suresh, Sidhartha Siva and Riaa Saira in main roles. The technical crew includes cinematographer Saran Velayudhan, editor Nishad Yusuf and music composer Paali Francis.
