Pa Ranjith’s upcoming pan-Indian action film Vettuvam has unveiled a glimpse into its fictional world with the release of a ‘World of Vettuvam’ video. Produced jointly by Ranjith’s Neelam Productions and Learn and Teach Production, the film is set in an apocalyptic world marked by power struggles, conflicts and shifting alliances.

The introductory video has been released simultaneously in five languages, with prominent actors lending their voices to the respective versions. Kichcha Sudeep has voiced the Kannada version, while Pankaj Tripathi has lent his voice to the Hindi version, Rana Daggubati to Telugu and Soubin Shahir to Malayalam. Ranjith himself has voiced the Tamil version.

Set against an apocalyptic backdrop, Vettuvam follows powerful groups locked in a battle for control, with the narrative unfolding through intense conflicts and unexpected turns. The film promises large-scale action sequences, with the makers drawing from traditional Indian martial arts forms including Adimurai and Mallakhamb.

The principal cast underwent specialised training in these disciplines to perform the action sequences. The film stars Arya, Dinesh, Shabeer, Sobhita Dhulipala and Kalaiyarasan in prominent roles.

Vettuvam has cinematography by Rupesh Shaji, editing by Selva RK and art direction by SS Murthy. Dileep Subbarayan has choreographed the action sequences, while GV Prakash Kumar has composed the music.

The film is set to release worldwide in Tamil, Kannada, Telugu, Malayalam and Hindi. The makers are expected to unveil the first-look poster following the release of the World of Vettuvam promotional video.
