Gurunandan, who won over audiences with First Rank Raju, is back with a new avatar in MR Jack, and the film has now unveiled its first song. Released on Anand Audio’s YouTube channel, the track also serves as the introduction song for Gurunandan’s character.
Written by director Sumanth Gowda and sung by popular vocalist MC Bijju, the song is composed by Kiran Ravindranath, and it has already caught its required attention.
Directed by Sumanth Gowda, MR Jack is produced by Gurunandan along with his friends under the banner Mandimane Talkies. The film is positioned as a comedy-led entertainer, while also bringing emotion into the mix. According to the team, the story brings together several elements aimed at contemporary audiences.
Tapaswini Poonacha plays the female lead opposite Gurunandan. The cast also includes Mithra, Gopalakrishna Deshpande, Aravind, Dharmanna and Sushmita Jagappa.
Shiv Sena is the cinematographer, while Kiran Ravindranath handles the music and Vijay Raj is the editor.
The film’s teaser, released earlier, has also received a positive response. The team is currently looking at bringing MR Jack to theatres in October.
