Sharan is back behind the microphone for Nee Nange Allava. The actor, who has previously lent his voice to songs, has now sung ‘Jigi Jikka Jikka’, the second track from the upcoming Kannada film. The song was recently released on Saregama’s YouTube channel.
Written by director Manoj P Nadalumane and composed by Suraj Jois, ‘Jigi Jikka Jikka’ is a dance number featuring Rahul Arcot, Kashimah and Giri Shivanna. Abhishek Matad and Raam Kiran have choreographed the track.
Actors Naveen Shankar, Vikash Uttaiah and Siddu Moolimani unveiled the song and wished the team well. The three actors also expressed confidence in the film after hearing the track.
Produced by Jayaram Devasamudra under the Suram Movies banner, Nee Nange Allava stars Rahul Arcot and Kashimah in the lead. The film’s first song, ‘No No’, has already received a positive response, and the team is hoping the second track will continue the momentum.
“I’m happy with the response to the first song. Now the second one is out. I wrote ‘Jigi Jikka Jikka’ myself, and Sharan has sung it beautifully. Suraj Jois’ music, Abhishek Matad and Raam Kiran’s choreography and the performances by Rahul Arcot, Kashimah and Giri Shivanna are the highlights of the song,” says Manoj.
The film has five songs, two of which have been released so far. Producer Jayaram Devasamudra says the remaining tracks have also shaped up well and hopes the audience will support the film.
For Rahul Arcot, the song also meant stepping into dance mode. “When the director told me about the song, I wondered whether I could dance well. But Raam Kiran taught me the steps very well,” he says.
Aishwarya Sindhogi, who features in the song, shares a decade-long friendship with Manoj. “I didn’t do this song just because we are friends. I liked the song, and that is why I wanted to be part of it,” she says.
Giri Shivanna and composer Suraj Jois also spoke about the song, while Kashimah, Aarthi Padubidri, Bhavana, Raam Kiran and Udayleela shared details about the film. Editor Nagendra Ujjani was also present.
