Rangayana Raghu’s Hosa Jeevana has found its first tune. The first song from the veteran actor's 400th film, in which he is featured alongside Prabhu Mundkur, has been released.
Titled 'Eneno Hambala', the song was launched by actor Sriimurali, who wished the team well. The track gives audiences their first musical taste of a film that brings friendship, love, family values and the daily struggles of ordinary life into its story.
For Rangayana Raghu, however, Hosa Jeevana comes with a number that is hard to overlook. This is his 400th film, adding another milestone to a career that has seen him move comfortably between comedy, drama and character roles.
The film marks the feature-film debut of Mohan Kumar Hanumayya, who has directed several short films before taking on a full-length project. He has also joined the production team.
Prabhu Mundkur plays the other lead, with Swathi Muppala as the female lead. Achyuth Kumar, Shivaraj KR Pete, Suhas Atreya, Abhi Samrat and Uday Achar are also part of the cast.
Produced by GS Sanjeev Prasad under Arjun Productions and Chiru Productions, the film has music by Sumukha Rao. Sunad Gowtham has scored the background music, while Shashidhar Gowda handles the edit and Raj Kanth SK is the cinematographer. Prathap MR has written the dialogues.
While the song carries the film’s first word to the audience, the bigger talking point, though, remains the man at the centre of it: 400 films, and Rangayana Raghu is still adding new characters to the list.
