

Kannada composer and singer Vasuki Vaibhav, known for his work in films such as Rama Rama Re, Sarkari Hi. Pra. Shaale, Kasaragodu, Koduge: Ramanna Rai and Badava Rascal, is now making his way into Telugu cinema. His latest Telugu outing, Romanchakam, released on September 3, and the composer has already landed another major project in the language.
Filmmaker Sandeep Reddy Vanga recently revealed that Vasuki has contributed a track to his upcoming film Spirit, starring Prabhas. Vanga made the revelation at a promotional event for Romanchakam, which is produced by his brother Pranay Vanga and presented by Sandeep Reddy Vanga.
Speaking about Vasuki’s work, Sandeep said the track would get audiences whistling in theatres. He also predicted that Vasuki would have several opportunities in Telugu cinema following Romanchakam.
Directed by Venugopal Reddy, Romanchakam is a romantic film starring Sumanth Prabhas and Ananthika Sunilkumar. The film marks Venugopal’s directorial debut. The Vanga brothers came on board after hearing the director’s two-hour narration, with Pranay producing the film.
For Vasuki, Romanchakam is his latest step into Telugu cinema after establishing himself as a composer and singer in Kannada. He gained wider recognition through Bigg Boss Kannada and has also acted in supporting roles.
