Actor-producer Yash shared a personal anecdote about Oscar-winning composer AR Rahman, who is scoring the film alongside Hollywood legend Hans Zimmer. Recalling his school days, Yash shared how Rahman’s music influenced him while growing up:

The Rocking Star said, "We used to dance to AR Rahman sir’s songs when we were young in school, whether it was 'Chikku Bukku Rayile' or any of his iconic tracks. And today, having him compose music for a film that I am acting in and co-producing is a dream come true."

Revealing a lesser-known chapter from the composer’s early career that ties him directly to Bengaluru, Yash recounted: "When we were discussing this film, Rahman sir shared something very special with me. He told me, 'The very first recording studio I ever built was with the money given by Kannadigas. I used to come to Karnataka, work part-time, and score background tracks here. It was with that hard-earned money that I laid the foundation of my studio.' His connection to this soil runs that deep."

Yash added that bringing Rahman and Zimmer together for Ramayana's music was a deliberate decision. "It is an effort to bring two different musical worlds together for our epic. We want to show India's cultural strength to international audiences, while simultaneously bringing the finest global craft back to our own viewers."
