Director Orata Shri, who previously helmed Orata I Love You and Kora, is returning with Shabari. The makers recently unveiled the trailer with director Ravi Srivatsa, actor 'Orata' Prashanth, Kote Prabhakar, Praveen, Bhoomika, and entrepreneur Prashanth Chakravarthy in attendance. At the trailer launch, they also revealed October 23 as the film's release date.

Produced by Ramesh B, Badri, and Vishnukanth A under the Bharavi Films banner, the film weaves suspense and mystery into a domestic framework.

Director Orata Shri noted that the storyline centers on a father and daughter, with an old jeep serving as a key narrative element throughout the runtime. "We worked within a tight budget and wrapped production right on schedule," he shared, pointing out that despite the thriller elements, the treatment remains geared toward family audiences. The initial response to the single ‘Thandani Thaano’, released via Lahari Music, gave the team an early boost heading into the launch.

The supporting cast includes seasoned artistes MK Mata, Ninasam Ashwath, Seetha Harshavardhan, Yogesh Veer, and Mandya Siddu as the film introduces newcomer Samarth in the lead. "Having my debut role hold weight in the script was a huge opportunity," Samarth said, crediting the senior artists for guiding him on set. He added that his father is also among the producers funding the venture.

Kruthika Gowda, who came onboard after the director saw her work in the short film Kirathaka, plays the female lead, while child actor Dhanvi, known from the daily soap Raani, plays a significant role.

On the technical side, the project has music by BR Hemanth Kumar, cinematography by Samrat Nagaraj, and editing by K Girish Kumar.

With post-production wrapped, the makers are readying Shabari for its statewide release.
