The birthday celebrations of popular Kannada cinema star 'Dimple Queen' Rachita Ram reached a fever pitch in Rajarajeshwarinagar. On October 3, a massive crowd of fans from various corners of the state gathered to catch a glimpse of their beloved icon, bursting firecrackers and distributing sweets from midnight onwards.
On Rachita Ram's birthday, the area surrounding her residence wore a festive look for the occasion. To showcase their adoration, fans installed giant cut-outs, lining the streets with serial displays depicting the major roles she has played so far. They adorned these cut-outs with massive floral garlands and smashed pumpkins to ward off the evil eye in a special celebratory ritual.
Amidst the fans gathered outside her home at midnight, Rachita cut her birthday cake. On this occasion, renowned singer Sunil performed his specially composed track dedicated to her, titled "Rachchu Achchu Mechchu...", singing it live in her presence to extend his wishes.
Overwhelmed by the outpouring of love and devotion shown by her supporters, Rachita grew emotional. Expressing her gratitude, she said, "Every year, this love and support shown by the fans is my strength. I am forever indebted to this love." She individually met the gathered admirers, accepted their loving gifts, and posed for photographs, doubling the joy of the celebration.
