Former Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah released a 3-minute-10-second song from the upcoming film Vikramarka, led by the line 'Kannadave Nanna Usiru Endru Namma Rajanna, Jai Jai Karnataka.'
Despite a busy schedule, Siddaramaiah watched the full song, enquired about the film, and conveyed his best wishes to the team, asking to be informed upon the film's release so he could watch it.
The song has lyrics and music by Vivek Jungly, who has also lent his vocals alongside Chandan Mahadev, Devaraj Kumbar, and Manjunath Ambarashetty. The track is set for an official release on Kannada Rajyotsava.
Produced by Mumbai-based S Umesh Kumar, Vikramarka is written and directed by Lokesh B, who has penned the story, screenplay, and dialogues. Lead actor Bhargav features in the song, sporting looks inspired by Dr. Vishnuvardhan, Ambareesh, and Shankar Nag. The sequence was shot over two days at Cycle Pub in Nagarabhavi.
Aishwarya plays the female lead. The cast also features Chetan Krishna, S Umesh Kumar, Muthu, Mega Sriram, Munna, Shreyas, and Chayashree. The technical team includes cinematographers Deepu and K Ganesh, choreographers Rohit Arun and Vijay Mohan, editor Santhosh, and costume designer Satish. The producers plan to host the audio release event later this month.
