The teaser of the martial arts-based actioner, Real Fighters, starring Dr Chamaraj, Jyothiraj, and a host of student martial artists, was launched by actor Prem and MLA K Gopalaiah in Bengaluru.

Action cinema in the digital age often finds its refuge in wirework, green screens, and CGI touch-ups. But martial arts instructor-turned-filmmaker Dr Chamaraj wants to strip away that safety net. His upcoming directorial, Real Fighters, produced under the Chamaraj Cine Creations banner, promises to deliver old-school, bone-crunching action done entirely in camera, featuring real martial artists executing dangerous stunts without harnesses or body doubles.

The film's official teaser was recently unveiled at an event in Bengaluru, attended by actor ‘Nenapirali’ Prem, MLA K Gopalaiah, entrepreneur HS Raghavendra Shet, and renowned rock climber Jyothiraj, popularly known as ‘Kothi Raj’.

Speaking at the launch, Nenapirali Prem, who shares a long-standing association with the filmmaker, took a trip down memory lane. “Chamaraj master is someone who can banish self-doubt from anyone with just a few words of encouragement. He has mentored thousands of students over the decades, shaping their lives and giving back immensely to society,” the actor shared, adding, “My children and I consider it a privilege to be his disciples. There was a time when we used to practice beside open drains and in public parks. Seeing him mount a project of this scale today, with the support of leaders like MLA K Gopalaiah, brings immense joy.”

According to director Chamaraj, mounting the film came with its share of physical challenges. The team highlighted that the action sequences were shot purely with conditioned technique and reflex, forgoing modern safety gears and ropes. The film heavily relies on student martial artists—including Anil, Arun Rohit, Rock Shri, Nethra, and Sriharsha—who took on high-risk stunts directly.

Besides directing the project, Dr Chamaraj has also penned the story and screenplay. The ensemble cast includes Dr N Chandrashekhar, Dr S Manjunath, Jyothiraj, lyricist-filmmaker Dr V Nagendra Prasad, MS Jahangeer, Danny Kuttappa, Cheluvaraj, and Adbuth RK in pivotal roles.

On the technical front, Real Fighters features music by Satish Aryan, with lyrics penned by Dr V Nagendra Prasad, Satish Aryan, and Shivaram. Vignesh Malaichamy and Eugene D’Souza have handled the cinematography, while Arjun Kittu is on board as the editor. Dialogues are penned by Gopal BS, with choreography by Guttalli Suresh, B Dhananjay, and Dr Chamaraj.

The film is backed by NKM & Sons, Dr S Manjunath (ABB Manjanna), Gagan Satish, and advocate Jagadeesh L Gopal Hallera, Bharath, and Shekar K have served as co-directors on the project.
