Bigg Boss Kannada 2 fame and actor Aryn Santosh is turning director for the period-action venture Chenkol: The Last Kingdom. Generating substantial pre-release momentum, the film’s team has officially dropped a high-energy mass song. Serving as a vibrant introduction to Aryn Santosh’s character, the newly released mass number—titled 'DJ Santhu'—opens with catchy and trendy lines that captures a flamboyant, fast-paced urban rhythm.
The track has been conceptualised, written, composed, and performed by popular rapper and musician All OK (Alok), with collaborative composition and production by Joe Costa and Gautham Das, while noted Tamil actor Diya makes a special appearance to add international flair and glamour to the screen.
Chenkol is designed on a massive canvas that bridges two distinct timelines, tracing a journey from Bengaluru to Kerala where the modern, energetic flavour of DJ Santhu transitions into a mystical period-action fantasy backdrop set roughly 800 years in the past. Backed by a strong technical team including dialogue writers LR Jeevan, SK Santosh, and Midhun, background scorer Manikanth Kadri, cinematographer Vipindev R Raj, and editor Umesh RB, the bilingual film is jointly produced by Winter Bridge Studios and Pixy Originals and will see its release in both Kannada and Malayalam.
