The upcoming Yash starrer Toxic, directed by Geetu Mohandas, continues to hog the headlines for various reasons. The latest to keep the internet abuzz with the film is Kiara Advani's statement that it will change how people perceive the male-female dynamic on the big screen. Meanwhile, the actor has also spoken about working on the film with Kannada and English lines.
In a conversation with Bombay Times, Kiara said that she finds it challenging to work in both languages for the film. "Toxic has been challenging because this is the first time we shot in both English and Kannada. We would do the English shot first till we get it right and then the one in Kannada," the actor said. She added that with Kannada not being her primary language, she has found it hard to work on the film.
"I have been mugging up my dialogues literally. Sometimes, they would come with the lines the night before shoot. It is work; it is homework for sure," Kiara Advani said before quipping that her tendency to learn school lessons by heart has come to use now. "I am that frontbencher in class. I will mug up my dialogues and will do the other person's lines. I will know my work thoroughly," the actor added. She also said that actors should known their dialogues before they reach the set. "If they wake you up from your sleep as well, you should know your dialogues," Kiara said.
The actor plays a character named Nadia in the upcoming film. Besides Yash and Kiara, the film stars Nayanthara and Rukmini Vasanth, among others. There has been much anticipation for the theatrical premiere of the film, especially because it is set to mark Yash's first release since KGF: Chapter 2 (2022).
