Actor Rakshit Shetty, who largely stayed away from frequent public appearances in recent years, has come together with his family for a special personal celebration. Rakshit joined the festivities marking the wedding anniversary of his parents, Sridhar Shetty and Ranjana Sridhar Shetty, who completed 50 years of married life. The occasion was celebrated with the family members in a traditional and intimate setting.
To commemorate the milestone, the Shetty family organised religious rituals at a temple. Special poojas, homa and havan were conducted as the family gathered to honour the couple’s long journey together. Rakshit was seen actively participating in the ceremonies and standing alongside his parents during the celebrations.
The actor had only recently taken part in a family-led Daivaradhane Kola Seva and once again embraced the spiritual side of the occasion through these temple rituals.
The photographs from the celebration have now drawn attention online, giving fans a rare glimpse of the ‘Simple Star’ away from film promotions and public events.
Rakshit was last seen onscreen in the Sapta Sagaradaache Ello franchise, released in 2023. While he has not had a new film go on floors since then, the filmmaker-actor has kept audiences curious with a slate of announced projects. Among his upcoming projects is Richard Anthony, the much-awaited follow-up to Ulidavaru Kandanthe. He has also spoken about projects such as Midway to Moksha and the two Punyakoti films. While his focus remains firmly on storytelling and direction, fans await his return to the big screen.
