A devotional album celebrating the spiritual legacy of Mantralaya’s Sri Raghavendra Swamy is set to reach devotees soon. Rayara Darshana, an album song centred on the saint’s glory and the rituals associated with Mantralaya, will be officially launched on June 20 in the divine presence of Sri Subudhendra Teertha at Mantralaya.
Produced by Suguna Raghu under Lakshmi Ganesh Productions and The New Indian Times (TNIT) banner, the project brings together a notable creative team. Music director Ajaneesh Loknath, along with C R Bobby, has composed the song, while Canada-based singer Abby V — widely recognised for rendering 'Brahmakalash' from Kantara — has lent his voice to the devotional track. Lyrics have been penned by Nagarjuna Sharma.
The teaser for Rayara Darshana was recently unveiled by senior actor Tara Anuradha during a press interaction, building anticipation around the album’s release.
Speaking about the project, organiser Raghu Bhat said the album was a year-long effort. “This is not just a song but a musical journey through the poojas, annual rituals and spiritual grandeur of Mantralaya. It took nearly a year to shape the album. The launch will happen in Rayara sannidhi itself on June 20, and the event will also feature a musical evening by Ajaneesh Loknath,” he said. He added that efforts are underway to invite deputy chief ministers from three states for the occasion.
For Ajaneesh Loknath, the project carries personal meaning. “Since childhood, I have grown up reciting the Poojyaya Raghavendraya shloka before stepping out of home. Composing for a song dedicated to Rayaru is a blessing for me. Bobby and I worked on this album with deep devotion,” he said.
