The makers of Rakky have unveiled the film’s first single, 'Ragado Rakky,' and the track, now streaming on PRK Audio, is already drawing attention from young audiences and music lovers. Released on the PRK Audio YouTube channel, the song introduces debutant Rakky Suresh with a full-scale mass-hero launch powered by energetic choreography, flashy visuals and Gen Z swagger.
Notably, the film shares its title with its protagonist, positioning Rakky as both a character-driven story and a launch vehicle for Rakky Suresh.
Making his debut as a lead actor in Kannada cinema, Rakky Suresh brings high-voltage energy, stylish screen presence and fast-paced dance moves to the track. Built around trendy beats and vibrant visuals, 'Ragado Rakky' taps into contemporary youth culture while presenting its lead as a new-age commercial hero.
The song’s hook lyric, “Hachchittiro Pataki” (“a firecracker waiting to explode”), reflects the hero’s explosive personality, with colorful visuals and crowd-pleasing choreography amplifying the larger-than-life mood.
The track is sung by Shashank Sheshagiri, with music and lyrics by Loki Tavasya, who also handled the music production.
Written and directed by Venkat Bharadwaj, Rakky is currently in the censor stage and gearing up for release soon. Produced by Suresh Saligrama under the SNR Productions banner, the film blends action, romance, emotion, music and mass-commercial elements aimed at younger audiences.
Cinematography is by Issac Prabhakar, editing by Deepu S Kumar, art direction by Deepak Kamath, choreography by Kambi Raju and associate direction by Lawrence Preetham. The film’s post-production work is being carried out at PRK Studios.
