Hombale Films, known for backing films like KGF: Chapter 1, Kantara, and Salaar: Part 1 – Ceasefire, is now stepping into the overseas distribution business. They are kicking off this bold new chapter with one of the most anticipated Indian films of 2026, Peddi.

The studio recently announced its move into international distribution. Peddi will be Hombale’s first official overseas acquisition. This shift marks an important change for the production house, which has spent recent years backing large-scale theatrical experiences that connect with audiences across different languages.

Headlined by Ram Charan and directed by Buchi Babu Sana, Peddi is set against a rugged, emotionally charged backdrop filled with intense action, grounded storytelling. Ram Charan’s transformation for this role, for the physically demanding action scenes, has only increased the excitement around the project.

Oscar-winning composer AR Rahman is working on the soundtrack. Kannada actor Shivarajkumar will star in a key role, and is expected to bring emotional depth and strong screen presence to the story. Peddi is set to release on June 4.
