The team behind Ramarasa is steadily building curiosity around the film, and their latest update shifts focus to one of its most intriguing characters. Produced by Guru Deshpande under G Cinemas, in association with Seven Star Movies, the National Award-winning filmmaker BM Giriraj, known for stories rooted in culture and realism, is directing the film.

This time, the spotlight is on Prajwal Devaraj, who takes on the unique role of Guru Siddha. Sudugaadu Siddha, a nomadic mystic community known for its spiritual practices and deep devotion to Lord Shiva, has inspired this character. They travel from village to village, foresee the future, perform small acts of magic, entertain people, and even cure illnesses using traditional herbs. It’s a lesser-known cultural layer, and the film aims to bring it to the screen on a larger scale.

The ensemble cast brings together familiar and versatile faces, including Karthik Mahesh, Sharan, Hebah Patel, Balaji Manohar, and Vaishali, each expected to add their own dimension to the narrative. The film is supported by a strong technical crew—cinematographer AV Krishnakumar (KK), composer Bharath BJ, editor Arjun Kittu, choreographer Murali Master, art director Hosmane Murthy, and stunt choreographer Arjun Raj, known for his work in Kantara.

With shooting wrapped, Ramarasa is now in the final stages of post-production, with work underway in Bengaluru and Chennai. The team is preparing to unveil a new poster and a making video, offering audiences their first proper glimpse of the film. Blending folklore, spirituality, and fantasy, Ramarasa aims to deliver a cinematic experience that is both rooted and visually rich.
