Actor-journalist Yathiraj has started work on his next directorial venture, his seventh film, and for the first time, he is venturing into the horror gnere.
The project was launched recently with a simple script pooja, and the team has now begun working on casting, while simultaneously Yathiraj continues work on the screenplay.
The yet-to-be-titled film is presented by Suni Vini and produced under the Vruddhi Enterprises banner, with TR Chetan producing the project.
The film is said to combine horror with humour and emotional elements, and the story has been written keeping a mix of these aspects in mind, rather than following a single genre tone.
The film is expected to go on floors in May. The team is currently looking for artistes.
Vijay Haritsa, who earlier worked with Yathiraj on Sanju, will compose the music. Dialogues are being written by Srikanth. Sudheendra Venkatesh and Arun Kumar is on board for this project, working behind the scenes.
Other cast and crew details are yet to be announced.
