The makers of Love Mocktail 3 have begun rolling out premiere shows, and actor-producer Milana Nagaraj says the early response has been encouraging. The team started the first set of premiere screenings on Wednesday, giving audiences a chance to watch the film before its wider theatrical run. "We hope the film reaches everyone and that audiences take back something beautiful from it,” she said, ahead of the film's festive release on March 19.
The third chapter of the romantic franchise once again brings together Milana and actor-director Darling Krishna, who continues to steer the story forward after the success of the earlier films. The Love Mocktail series has built a loyal following for its simple, emotional take on relationships and life’s unexpected turns.
Milana also spoke about the creative challenge of expanding a story that audiences have already embraced. According to her, taking the narrative forward while meeting expectations is never easy. She added that the character of Niddhima carried an emotional weight in the story and that bringing the role to life has been an interesting journey. “Krishna and Shashank pushed to to Niddhima’s journey, and continuing the story while crossing what we had already done earlier is definitely a challenge,” she said.
Despite the pressure that comes with a popular franchise, Milana noted that the reactions so far have been heartening. “We are getting a lot of compliments,” she added, pointing to the warm messages coming from viewers, who are looking forward to watching the film, as the team hopes it will once again connect with audiences who have followed the story’s emotional journey from the beginning.
