Senior Kannada film publicist Sudheendra Venkatesh has been awarded an honorary doctorate by Yoga – Samskrutam University, recognising his decades of contribution to film publicity.
The honour was presented at Mantralaya by Sri Subudhendra Theertha of Sri Raghavendra Swamy Mutt.
Venkatesh heads Sri Raghavendra Chitravani, founded by late DV Sudheendra, a pioneer in Kannada film publicity. Completing 50 years, the banner has consistently served as a strong link between the industry and the media.
With a career spanning over 35 years, he has managed publicity for more than 3,000 films, working with major production houses including Hombale Films, Rockline Productions, Paramvah Studios, Eshwari Productions, KCN Enterprises and Rishab Shetty Films.
With the next generation now driving its digital outreach, Sri Raghavendra Chitravani continues to carry forward its five-decade legacy in Kannada cinema publicity.
