The Mukunda Ramaswami-starrer Love Seasons, directed by Kruthvik Shetty, continues its run in theatres as audiences embrace its heartfelt take on relationships.
In an encouraging sign for Kannada cinema's smaller releases, Love Seasons has completed 25 days in theatres, continuing its run on the strength of positive word of mouth. Released on July 3, the romantic drama has steadily found its audience despite a modest theatrical release.
Directed by Kruthvik Shetty and produced by NR Manjunath (Neeleri) under the NR Studios banner, the film stars Mukunda Ramaswami alongside Diya Keerthi, Chandana Gowda, Shwetha Kogloor, Rajesh Nataranga, Mandya Ramesh, Sangeetha Anil, Jayatheertha, Chethan Durga, Huli Karthik, Comedy Khiladigalu Sadanand, and Baby Rithu Singh.
The film follows Ram as he experiences love through different stages of life, with each chapter representing a different emotional season. Backed by Veer Samarth's music, Avinash Shastry's cinematography, and Madhu Thumbakere's editing, the film is a simple relationship drama that looks at love with honesty and warmth. It also gives equal importance to its female characters, making them an integral part of the story rather than just supporting the lead.
Speaking about the milestone, the makers thanked audiences for supporting the film throughout its theatrical run.
