Yash's Toxic: A Fairytale for Grown-Ups has been one of the most-anticipated films in recent times for its action-heavy storyline, along with the star-studded cast, featuring actors from across India. The recently-released glimpse received massive response online, fuelling curiosity among audiences.
Yash has now described Toxic as a "high-octane, roller-coaster ride" that is wild, unapologetic, and larger-than-life. However, he further assured that it will remain "deeply emotional and grounded." The KGF actor also expressed his passion for action movies, sharing that working with action director JJ Perry was a great experience.
He further emphasised that the action sequences are inspired by hit Hollywood films like John Wick, ensuring high quality where every action scene is driven by genuine emotion rather than existing for its own sake. He also placed his confidence on the film, noting that audiences will be "completely blown away" when they leave the theatre.
Toxic is said to be a high-voltage action thriller that explores the complexities of a father-son relationship. While the makers have kept the plot under wraps, the scale of the film and the buzz around Yash's character Raya and Ticket.
The film also stars Kiara Advani, Nayanthara, Huma Qureshi, Tara Sutaria and Rukmini Vasanth. Directed by Geetu Mohandas, Toxic: A Fairytale for Grown-Ups is slated for worldwide theatrical release on August 26, 2026. Produced by KVN Productions and Yash's own Monster Mind Creations, the film has been shot simultaneously in Kannada and English and will also be dubbed in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil and Malayalam.
