The shooting of Hubballi Hunters, backed by Bell Bottom producer Santosh Kumar KC under the Golden Horse Cinema banner, has been successfully completed. The film has now entered the post-production stage.
The film is directed by Samarth B Kadkol, who previously drew attention with his distinctive directorial Edagai Apaghatakke Kaarana. Hubballi Hunters features Chetan Marambeed, Pawan Kulkarni, Sumit Sankoji, Naman Arora, Deepak Rao, Shivu Gundannavar, Vinay Doddamani, Dhanya Sujeeth, and Pawan Annegeri. Also playing key roles are Dhanyashree Sujeeth, known for the reality show Mahanati, and Vanu Patil. Actors Pramod Shetty, Achyuth Kumar, and Krishna Hebbale also appear in pivotal roles.
As the title suggests, the film is rooted in the culture and flavour of North Karnataka. The team had launched the project with a grand muhurat in Hubballi and completed the first schedule over 14 days across prominent locations in the city. This was followed by a 22-day schedule in Sirsi and a two-day shoot in Dharwad. With filming now complete, the team has officially wrapped production.
Director Samarth B Kadkol has also written the story and has shared dialogue-writing credits with Rahul V Parvatikar, Amit Karvkar, and Chetan Marambeed. The film's cinematography is by Abhimanyu Sadanandan, while Prasanna Keshav is composing the music.
