The Rise of Ashoka aims for a February release. The makers are keeping the excitement going by unveiling songs regularly. After Madeva and Yako Yako received a warm response in different languages, the team has now released a new folk-based song titled 'Kalyanave Gowri', which adds a strong rural feel to the album. The song is available in Kannada, Tamil, and Telugu. 'Kalyanave Gowri', set during a wedding, is rooted in traditional sounds and visuals. Poornachandra Tejaswi composed the music, and the Kannada version features vocals by Pancham Jeeva and Shwetha Hiremath. The Tamil version includes lyrics by Monish Kumar, sung by Pancham Jeeva and Anita S R Mahesh. The Telugu version has lyrics by Jayachandra JD, with vocals by Pancham Jeeva and Satyavani. The makers aimed to keep the same feel across languages while adjusting the lyrics for each culture.

Within hours of its release, the song attracted over one lakh views and began trending. Listeners responded positively to its simple tune and wedding-themed setting.

Satish Ninasam plays the lead role and is also involved in the film as a lyricist, singer, and producer. Saptami Gowda is the female lead. Set in the 1970s, The Rise of Ashoka follows a young man's life and the challenges he faces, along with the social issues of that time.

After the passing of director Vinod V Dhondale, Manu Shedgar completed the film. The project is produced under the Vridhi Creation and Satish Picture House banners by Satish Ninasam, Vardhan Hari, and Jaishnavi. The cast also features B Suresh, Sampath Maitreya, Gopalakrishna Deshpande, and Yash Shetty. The story is by Dayanand T K, with cinematography by Lavith.
