As Yash turns a year older on January 8, the celebrations this time carry a quiet, heartfelt tone. For the second year in a row, the actor will not meet fans in person on his birthday. Instead, Yash chose to reach out with a personal letter, recognising the wait, the love, and the patience of his fan community.
In the message, Yash acknowledged that he knows how eagerly fans have been waiting to see him. “Believe me, I have been longing to meet you all just as much,” he wrote. He had hoped to meet fans this year, but he explained that he is currently focused on completing Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups, which is set to hit theatres on March 19, 2026. The demanding final phase of production has made it impossible for him to step away, even for birthday appearances.
Yash assured fans that this distance is temporary and promised to meet them on a larger scale soon. He also expressed thanks for every wish, message, and gesture of love, signing off simply as “Yours, Yash”.
Coinciding with his birthday, the makers of Toxic will unveil Yash’s character poster on January 8 at 10:10 AM. The production house teased the reveal with the line, “The one they warned you about will be unveiled,” building excitement around the film’s tone and the actor’s look.
Directed by Geethu Mohandas and produced by KVN Productions along with Yash’s Monster Mind Creations, Toxic is being filmed simultaneously in Kannada and English, with dubbed versions planned in multiple languages. It features a star-studded cast including Nayanthara, Rukmini Vasanth, Kiara Advani, Huma Qureshi, and Tara Sutaria, and is set for a global release.
