After setting box-office records with KGF: Chapter 1, KGF: Chapter 2, Kantara, Salaar, and Mahavatar Narasimha, Hombale Films is now taking a bold step by officially entering the overseas distribution field.

This move marks a new chapter for the studio, which has already shown it can create large-scale films that work well across different languages and cultures. The goal is to build a solid international distribution network that serves both Hombale Films’ own projects and brings diverse stories from India to audiences worldwide.

Hombale Films journey from hits like Ninnindale and Masterpiece to nationwide successes like Raajakumara and KGF: Chapter 1 shows how Kannada cinema can cross barriers. KGF: Chapter 2, Kantara, and the Telugu blockbuster Salaar: Part 1 – Ceasefire kept the momentum going, setting box-office records at every turn.

In 2025, Hombale Films released Kantara: Chapter 1, one of the highest-grossing Indian films of the year, and presented Mahavatar Narasimha. Both films made the Academy Awards General Entry List, placing them among about 200 films worldwide eligible for Oscar consideration in categories like Best Picture and Best Animated Feature.

Looking ahead, Hombale Films has an exciting lineup: Salaar 2. A film with Hrithik Roshan, KGF 3, and more projects that promise the same captivating storytelling. By entering overseas distribution, the studio shows that Indian cinema is ready for a global stage, and Hombale Films is taking the lead.
