Gatha Vaibhava, released in theatres last year, has now entered the OTT space. The film premiered in Karnataka on November 14 and showcased a unique storytelling approach by director Simple Suni, who presented four different narratives. In addition to directing, Suni also wrote the story, screenplay, and dialogues.
The film marks the debut of Dushyanth in the lead role, while Ashika Ranganath plays the female lead, gaining attention for her distinctive role. Dushyanth's performance received praise from audiences, who appreciated his confident and mature portrayal, despite this being his first film.
Now, Gatha Vaibhava is available for streaming on Amazon Prime Video. The film is offered in both Kannada and Telugu, allowing it to reach a broader audience. Through this project, Simple Suni explored four different stories, blending emotional and narrative layers to provide a fresh viewing experience.
Primarily a romantic love story, Gatha Vaibhava also includes elements of a scientific thriller, making it one of the more experimental films in Suni's career. The director not only developed the story but also wrote the screenplay and dialogues, highlighting his versatility.
The film is produced by Deepak and Simple Suni under the banners of Suni Cinemas and Silver Screen Productions. The technical team features cinematographer William David, responsible for the camera work, and Judah Sandy, who composed the music.
Besides the lead actors, the film also showcases performances by Sudha Belawadi, Kishan Bilagali, Krishna Hebbale, Krishna Jorapur, and others.
