The makers of Amartha have released a new melody from the upcoming Kannada film, bringing Srinagar Kitty and Meghana Raj together on screen once again. The song, 'Balleya Balleya' set against scenic locations, introduces the romantic side of the film and gives a glimpse of the chemistry between the lead pair.
Composed by Pancham Jeeva, the song is also sung by him along with Asha Bhat. The lyrics have been penned by Apoorva D Selva, while Madan Harini has choreographed the track. Shot across the picturesque landscapes of Malnad, the song blends romance with the natural beauty of the region.
Amartha marks another collaboration between Srinagar Kitty and Meghana Raj, who have previously shared the screen. Meghana Raj plays Lakshmi, a character whose life goes through several changes. The film follows her story from childhood to youth, with the relationship between the central characters forming an important part of the narrative. Srinagar Kitty also plays a pivotal role in Lakshmi’s life.
Directed by Guru Hegde and Vinay Preetham, Amartha features Kriti Shetty, Usha Bhandari and Manju Bhashini in other important roles. Guru Prashanth Rai is the cinematographer. Amartha is scheduled to release in theatres across Karnataka on September 18.
