National Award-winning filmmaker Mansore, known for films like Harivu, Nathicharami, and Act 1978, takes a new direction with Doora Theera Yaana, his first venture into relationship drama. The film, which was released in theaters earlier, is now streaming on Sun NXT from September 26.

The story follows Akash, played by Vijay Krishna, and Bhoomi, portrayed by Priyanka Kumar. They have been together for five years and are about to get engaged. On the surface, they seem like the ideal couple. Both work in IT and play music on the side. However, underlying tensions emerge in small arguments and quiet moments. To reconnect before their engagement, the couple embark on a road trip. They hope that spending a few days together away from everyday distractions will help them work through their issues. What starts as a romantic getaway turns into a journey of self-reflection, vulnerability, and tough conversations. These discussions will ultimately determine if love and communication can close the gap between them.

Doora Theera Yaana Movie Review: A meditative leap into the emotional landscape of modern love

As he explores more mainstream themes, Mansore maintains his subtle storytelling style. He creates a film that is intimate and contemplative, rather than overly dramatic. The performances carry the emotional weight of the story. Doora Theera Yaana focuses less on grand gestures and more on the space between closeness and distance, doubt and trust. For those who missed it in theaters, the film is now available on the streaming platform.

Mansore co-wrote the film along with Hebbale Krishna and Chetana Theerthalli. The film is produced by Devaraj R under the banner of D Creations. Cinematography is handled by Shekar Chandra, while editing is by Nagendra K Ujjani. The musical score is composed by Bakkesh‑Ronada and Karthik Chennoji Rao, while dialogues are wriiten by Chetana Theerthalli.
