After its theatrical run last month, Kothalavadi is now gearing up for its digital journey. The film, produced by Pushpa Arun Kumar—mother of Rocking Star Yash—under her banner PA Productions, will premiere on Amazon Prime Video starting September 5.

Directed by Sriraj, the film features Pruthvi Ambaar and Kavya Shaiv in the lead roles. While its release in theatres drew an average response, the team is optimistic that the film will find a wider reach and appreciation on the OTT platform.

Kothalavadi will be made available in multiple languages—Kannada, Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, and Malayalam. The streaming will begin with the Kannada version on September 5, with the other language versions rolling out in the following days.

The film tells its story with the support of a strong ensemble cast, including Gopal Deshpande, Rajesh Nataranga, Raghu Ramanakoppa, and Manasi Sudhir. Dialogues are written by Raghu Niduvalli. On the technical side, the film brings together Karthik S. for cinematography, Vikas Vasishta for music, and Abhinandan Kashyap for the background score.

For Pushpa Arun Kumar, Kothalavadi is a special project as it marks her maiden venture as a producer under PA Productions. Her entry into film production had generated buzz even before the film’s release, given her association with her son, Yash, one of Kannada cinema’s biggest stars.

With its OTT release, Kothalavadi is set for a second innings—this time reaching audiences across languages and geographies.
