The trailer of Love U Muddu has stirred curiosity and excitement among Kannada moviegoers. The film, directed and written by Kumar, who earlier made the popular Chemistry of Kariyappa, marks his return to the big screen with a refreshing story that explores the delicate boundaries of love, loss, and resilience, and the makers have released the film's trailer ahead of the film's release on November 7.
The glimpse carries an emotional premise built around a striking thought: “If one does not have the strength to love, they should not love at all.” With this idea at its heart, the film delves into the complexities of modern relationships while retaining Kumar’s signature mix of realism and emotional depth.
Prominent cinematographer J G Krishna and actor Sanjana Anand graced the occasion as special guests, extending their best wishes to the team.
Speaking at the event, J G Krishna lauded the trailer’s visuals and praised the director’s craftsmanship, noting that every frame looked cinematic and heartfelt. Sanjana Anand, who made her debut under Kumar’s direction, expressed her excitement for the team, calling the trailer “promising” and wishing it even greater success than Chemistry of Kariyappa.
Director Kumar, sharing insights about his latest project, described Love U Muddu as his fifth film and a significant shift from his earlier works. Inspired by real events from Maharashtra, the story is an emotionally charged and grounded in human experience, according to the director.
The film stars Siddu Moolimani and Reshma in the lead roles, with Rajesh Nataranga, Tabla Nani, Girish Shivanna, Srivatsa, and Swathi in pivotal parts.
