
The release of Vijay Kumar and Shreyas Manju starrer Maarutha has been rescheduled due to a shortage of theatres across Karnataka. Initially scheduled to premiere on October 31, the film will now arrive in cinemas on November 21.
Produced by K Manju and Ramesh Yadav under Esha Productions, the makers announced the new date through an official statement, thanking audiences for their continued support and patience as the team prepares for a wider rollout.
Shot on a grand scale, Maarutha blends S Narayan’s emotional storytelling with rich production design. The technical crew includes PKH Das as cinematographer, Shivaprasad Yadav handling editing, Vinod and Arjun choreographing the stunts, and Mohan Kumar and Santu as choreographers, the music is composed by S Narayan with Jassie Gift contributing to the soundtrack.
The ensemble cast features Brinda Acharya as the female lead, alongside Sadhu Kokila, Nishvika Naidu, Rangayana Raghu, Tara Anuradha, Sharath Lohitashwa, Pramod Shetty, Manju Pavagada, Chitra Shenai, and Sujay Shastri. The film also includes a special appearance by Crazy Star Ravichandran.
With S Narayan at the helm, Maarutha hoping to bring a blend of emotion, mass appeal, and cinematic flair.
