The team of The Rise of Ashoka released its first song, a devotional track, centred on Lord Shiva, taking its first formal step towards release. Actor Ninasam Sathish, who plays the lead role, has also written the lyrics for the song titled 'Elo Yelo Maadeva'.

Speaking after the launch, Ninasam Sathish spoke about the long and challenging process that shaped the film. “People still remember Ayogya. That film created a certain image for me. Many questioned my decision when I spoke about making a pan-India project. My intention was clear. I wanted to attempt something on the scale of KGF and Kantara. I did not take a signing amount for this film.”

Sathish recalled a sequence of setbacks during production. “We were prepared to begin shooting when the director passed away by suicide. From that point, the responsibility increased. Soon after, my elder brother met with an accident. For three years, we worked through difficult circumstances to complete this film,” he said, adding, "Even those who do not support me will feel proud after watching this work in The Rise of Ashoka. I could have completed six films within this budget, but this project became our sole focus.”

Actor Sapthami Gowda, who plays Ambika, a flower seller, described her experience of joining the team. “I was the last artiste to come onboard. From the day I entered, every song, dialogue, scene and costume was discussed with complete transparency. Our opinions were always valued,” Satish sir extended strong support throughout. The entire team has worked with care.”
