The third single from Devil, 'Alohomora – The True Emperor', is out now, with Darshan Thoogudeepa in a commanding and intense avatar. The track features the challenging star grooving with a couple of dancers, complemented by the high-tempo music composed by Ajaneesh Loknath. Written and sung by Aniruddha Sastry, the song adds a fresh and thumping musical layer to the film.
The previous two singles, 'Nemadig Irbek' and 'Onde Onde Sala,' have already garnered a great response among the audience. Darshan is seen in a darker, intense shade in 'Alohomora' with the striking black-and-grey visual backdrop strengthening the cinematic appeal.
The fans of Darshan came together and unveiled the song in the presence of the actor's wife Vijayalakshmi, his brother Dinakar Thoogudeepa, and nephew Chandu, along with a few other noted personalities. The film is set to hit theatres on December 12.
Directed by Prakash Jayaram, Devil boasts an ensemble cast that includes Mahesh Manjrekar and Achyuth Kumar. Darshan reunites with Prakash for the second time after Tarak, which adds to the expectations from the film. The film marks Ajaneesh Loknath's maiden collaboration with Darshan. . Saregama Music has acquired the audio rights of the film, and are backing the project, along with Shri Jai Matha Combines.
The film stars Rachana Rai and Sharmila Mandre as the other leads alongside Darshan. With high-energy tracks, and strong visuals by Sudhakar S Raj, Devil is set to make some noise on screen on December 12.
