

We had earlier reported about Nagabhushana’s next Kannada project, said to be inspired by the Telugu hit Court. The film, now officially titled Love Case, began its journey with a traditional muhurtha ceremony held recently. Carrying the tagline “Pure Love Story”, the film sets the tone for a romantic drama rooted in emotions and simplicity.
The title of Love Case was unveiled by former Chintamani MLA JK Krishna Reddy at the event, which saw the presence of several notable names from the Kannada film industry. Along with Nagabhushana, the film stars Srinagara Kitty, Sudharani, and Saikumar, among others. Directed by Jaaish, the film has dialogues penned by Masti, who was also present at the launch. The team revealed that more details about the project, including the rest of the cast and production updates, will be shared in the coming days.
The film’s music is composed by Adi Harikrishna, son of the celebrated composer V. Harikrishna, marking an interesting collaboration of musical legacy. The cinematography is by K.S. Chandrashekar, and editing will be handled by Anukrishna.
Speaking at the event, the team shared that Love Case will explore the idea of love in its purest form, weaving together traditional romance with contemporary storytelling. With an emphasis on heartfelt emotions and relatable characters, the makers aim to deliver a feel-good romantic experience for audiences.
The team also confirmed that the film’s shoot is progressing on a tight schedule, with plans to bring Love Case to theatres within the next six months. With its intriguing title and promising team, this project is shaping up to be a refreshing entry in Kannada cinema’s love story lineup.
