While the film was initially referred to as Kaage Bangara, sources close to the team confirmed that the title has now been changed. However, the phrase 'Kaage Bangara' will remain to play an essential role in the story.

Director Suri, known for his unique storytelling and stylised narratives, is expected to bring a bold vision to this film, which he has confirmed will be part of a trilogy. The story is penned by Surendranath, with screenplay and dialogues by Amri. Suri plans to merge the worlds of Kendasampige and Popcorn Monkey Tiger, crafting a cinematic universe.

As part of this, a few characters from the earlier films will reappear. Characters played by Prashanth Siddi and Poornachandra Mysuru from Kendasampige will have a continuity in the new storyline, with the police investigation thread also carried forward. Meanwhile, a few characters from Popcorn Monkey Tiger including Sparsha Rekha’s role will also find place in this film. Actor Malla, who appeared in Bheema and Salaga, will play a key role, while seasoned actor Biradar will also portray a major character.

Rithanya Vijay Kumar, daughter of actor Duniya Vijay, who is making her debut with her father in Landlord, will be playing the female lead, and marks her second film. For Yuva Rajkumar, this will be his third outing after Yuva and the upcoming Ekka.

The technical crew includes Deepu S Kumar as editor, Charan Raj as composer, Santosh handling art direction, and Shekar as cinematographer. The film is scheduled to go on floors by the end of May, and is set to be a large-scale production under three major banners: PRK Productions, KRG Studios, and Jayanna Films.

Meanwhile, Yuva Rajkumar’s next release, Ekka, directed by Rohit Padaki, is slated to hit screens in June. The film is currently in the final stages of production, and its teaser and title track release, have created a certain buzz before hitting the theaters.
