Vikram, who was in Bengaluru to promote his latest film Veera Dheera Sooran: Part 2, releasing on March 27, describes it as a "mass movie" that gives significance to every character in the film, as well as to the unique treatment of its story.

“This is a very special film for me,” Vikram begins. “It’s a mass film, and that’s exactly what it feels like. Every character in the film has importance. It has emotional depth, and the songs and action sequences have been created on a grand scale. Usually, a film starts with introducing the hero, followed by songs and fights, but here, everything is different. The hero's introduction, the interval block—everything is done in a fresh and distinct way. We’ve experimented with a new style through this film,” Vikram adds.

The film, set to release in two parts, will debut with the second installment first, followed by the first part. When asked why the second part was being released first, Vikram explains, “When I first heard the story, it was so exciting. There’s so much to the it, especially the flashback sequences, which are interesting. It feels like a separate story in itself. As the discussions progressed, we realised that we should tell the story this way. So, we decided to release the second part first and save certain elements for the first part.”

The film has been written and directed by SU Arun Kumar, with Riya Shibu producing under the HR Pictures banner. Alongside Vikram, the film features an ensemble cast which includes SJ Suryah, Suraj Venjaramoodu, and Dushara Vijayan. The music for the film has been composed by GV Prakash Kumar.
