Nithyaprakash Bantwal is over the moon, calling his current journey a 'double dhamaka' as he balances two exciting ventures: photography and acting. The newbie, who is making his debut in the Tulu film industry, is halfway through production. Meanwhile, a sneak peek of his work caught the attention of Your's Sincerely Raam director Vikhyath AR, who was quick to offer him a role in his film. The film, which stars Ganesh and Ramesh Aravind, also gives Nithyaprakash a break in his first Kannada film, which is set to star him in a significant role.
Having started his career in photography, Nithyaprakash is overwhelmed by the opportunities he receives. "It’s beyond exciting to be making a mark in not just one but two languages, and to work alongside Ganesh is a dream come true," he shares with CE.
He adds, “What makes my Tulu debut even more special is that it’s produced by Golden Movies, backed by Ganesh and his wife Shilpa. This project holds immense significance for us, especially since it’s a film for the coastal belt. It’s even more thrilling to start my journey from my hometown and debut in my mother tongue. It’s a family drama, and though the title is yet to be revealed, the first-hand experience has been great.”
Adding another hint of excitement, Nithyaprakash reveals that Ganesh will have a cameo in the Tulu film, with the actor's portions set to be shot in April, when the second schedule begins.
Equally thrilled about his Kannada debut, Nithyaprakash expresses his gratitude. "I’m excited to be part of Your's Sincerely Raam, and working alongside Ganesh, a huge star, is an honour. I’m grateful to Vikhyath for considering me based on my talent. I can’t wait to start shooting when the schedule is locked."
Your's Sincerely Raam, produced by Satya Rayala under The Rayala Studios, is set in the 1990s. Naveen Kumar handles the cinematography, while Anoop Seelin is composing the music. This film also marks the return of Meera Jasmine to the Kannada film industry, with Nithyaprakash being the latest to join the cast.
