Anamadheya Ashok Kumar, starring Kishore Kumar and directed by Sagar Kumar, is a crime thriller also featuring Harshil Kaushik in a pivotal role. Produced by Nirmala Kumar and Ramya Sagar Kumar under the SKN Films banner, this highly anticipated project is set to hit screens across the state on February 7.
Sagar Kumar, transitioning from his IT career to filmmaking, makes his directorial debut with it. Inspired by real-life crime cases and a former police officer’s book, the plot unfolds from evening to morning, centering around the murder of a famous lawyer. The screenplay, co-written by Sagar Kumar and Benny Thomas, promises an immersive cinematic experience. Kishore Kumar plays a journalist, while Harshil Kaushik portrays a circle inspector. The cast also includes Sudhindra Nayar, Kantaraj Kaddipudi, and Veeresh.
Sagar Kumar shared that, despite the challenges in the Kannada film industry, quality content continues to be appreciated. Anamadhyeya means "one without a name," and the makers claim that the mystery surrounding Anamadheya Ashok Kumar will keep audiences guessing till the very end. Kishore Kumar expressed his instant connection with the story and is hopeful of the audience's support for this fresh endeavour.
